Elemis is used in many beauty salons and is an amazing skincare brand that truly believe in the power of science and all things natural. They harvest the best natural ingredients into their products, and use innovative scientific advances to perfect their products. It’s a skincare brand that I have wanted to try for a long time, so when I received a birthday gift of Elemis skincare goodies I was elated!
My skincare bundle included the iconic Elemis Pro-Collagen cleansing balm (Rose), Peptide 4 thousand flower mask and the Pro-Collagen Marine cream. I have been using the face mask on a weekly basis, the cleansing balm and cream daily and here are my thoughts so far:
I remember when this product first launched, it was absolutely everywhere and it fast became a cult product. Essentially the product is a deep cleansing balm that dissolves make up, pollution and dirt from the skin leaving it nourished and glowing. After using it I can understand why people really love it – it makes the process of removing make up so much easier! You smother it on your face and then remove with a cloth, revealing clean and glowing skin. In comparison to other cleansing balms on the market, you get what you pay for this one contains collagen which means there are also anti-ageing, restorative benefits to the skin whilst using it.
This cooling face mask contains Nordic Peat, developed over thousands of years, rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. This mask aims to revive the skin, leaving it smoother and brighter.
Due to the Nordic Peat, the mask is black in colour – so be careful not to get it on your hair (especially if your hair is white and porous like mine)! I love these types of face masks because they are suitable for all skin types, and they give skin a boost. The fact that this mask contains specially sourced natural ingredients such as; Brazilian black clay, white and violet willow flowers from the U.K. and willow bark from the U.S makes it even more special. The face mask leaves skin visibly brighter and smoother in texture.
As I may have mentioned before in almost every single skincare blog post, I have stubborn dry patches on my temperamental skin. These have become worse during the cold months (naturally) and right now moisturiser is my best friend. I love this cream because it uses collagen as an anti-ageing ingredient, and it is nourishing to dry skin. Which means I don’t need to apply a separate anti-ageing serum and moisturiser for hydration – I’ve got two in one. I’ve been using this daily as part of my skincare routine, and my skin does seem more supple and firmer.
Overall I really think that your skin is one of your best investments. Elemis products are pricey, but there is a reason they are used internationally in beauty salons worldwide and throughout professional beauty services. Because they encompass science and nature to bring us innovative skincare that actually works.
You feel you are getting a salon experience when you use Elemis products – they are the epitome of luxury at home beauty treatments.
I would highly recommend investing in your skin and yourself! Get that glow girl.
